BOXMEER, the Netherlands – Renowned and well respected Jan Willem Ten Dam is retiring. With the start of the New Year the Ryde GM is doing the things he likes best. However, he will visit the Taipei Cycle Show next March as consultant.

In a goodbye note Jan Willem Ten Dam says to his colleagues, business friends, customers, suppliers and consultants, “I wish to say thank you for your professional support, your hospitality and kindness I received during the past 14 years that we shared together. You all made it possible that I could enjoy my work and all of you contributed positively to Rigida/Ryde as well as my career and success.

Successors

“Remco Fleur will succeed me in Ryde BV and Ryde Hungary; Amaury de Cordes will succeed me in Ryde International BV which includes Ryde Malaysia, Bike Parts Hong Kong, Weinmann Kunshan and Weinmann Huizhou.

Business consultant

“Apart of my retirement, which allows me to spend time for hobbies, I will be available as business consultant for small and medium size companies in the bicycle business. I wish you all the best for the challenging years to come and, who knows, we meet again.”
