Exustar Builds New Office and Warehouse
TAICHUNG, Taiwan – Pedal and shoe maker Exustar has moved its headquarters to a newly built facility. Located just outside Taichung City, it houses offices and warehouse facilities. The company’s manufacturing department remains at the old location a few kilometres away.
“Our business has grown substantially over the last few years, and we needed to do something to accommodate that,” said Exustar general manager Calvin Hsieh. “This new building allows ample space for both our office as well our warehouse. And there’s plenty of room for further expansion. In future we can ramp up production on this location and streamline operations.”
7,000 square meter facility
The move to the new 7,000 square meter facility was completed in February with virtually no interruption of the operation.
Exustar, at that time called Exus started the production of clip-in pedals in 1993. The manufacturing of their shoe range commenced in 1995. Exustar was founded in 2002 after a management buyout. In 2006 the company entered the motorcycle market with a line of leather boots. Exustar entered the US market after the establishment of Exustar USA in 2013.
