Management Changes at DT Swiss


BIEL, Switzerland – As part of succession planning at DT Swiss Group AG, Marco Zingg will be handing over as CEO to his two business partners Frank Böckmann and Maurizio D’Alberto from 1 July 2015.

Böckmann and D’Alberto are appointed directors. Frank Böckmann will lead the commercial and administrative divisions, and Maurizio D’Alberto will continue to manage the engineering of premium bicycle components which is DT Swiss’ core business. DT Swiss Group AG has subsidiaries in Poland, France, Germany, Taiwan and the USA. The Group employs around 500 people worldwide and generates an annual turnover of CHF 100 million (€ 95.9mn).

Chair of the executive board

Marco Zingg will remain as chair of the executive board of the Group and will retain, in his role as managing director, responsibility for the company’s two subsidiaries in the USA and France. He will also remain active in Group operations, albeit to a lesser extent, and will be helping his successors to take on their new roles.

Careful planning

The management of DT Swiss Group AG has been carefully preparing for this change over the past three years and now has, alongside the two directors, six other members with a long history in the company and extensive experience in the bike sector.
