Dutch ID Enters Speed Pedelec Market
BEVERWIJK, the Netherlands – Thanks to the expected growth of the speed pedelec market in the Netherlands this year more and more e-bike companies launch new models in this 45 km/h category. One of them is Dutch ID who introduced the Trekking HS N360 mid June.
For Dutch ID their speed pedelec is the most efficient way to commute. “It is safe and incredibly fast,” the company stated in their press release. Dutch ID designs and assembles all their bikes in the Netherlands and has an IBD exclusive network in the Benelux.
All Dutch ID bikes are specified with mid motor system which have proven their reliability and usability in daily use. In 2011 the company was the first to introduce the Bosch mid motor on the Dutch market.
The new Trekking HS N360 is also specified with a Bosch drive train system, the Active Performance 350W. It features a Walk-assist up to 6 km/h. The battery is a lithium-ion version of 418 Wh (36v, 11 Ah) which can be charged in 3.5 hours. For maximum drivability the e-bike has a NuVinci 360 hub and Magura MT3 180 mm disc brakes.
