Management Change at BBB Cycling

LEIDEN, the Netherlands – Marc Roelofsen steps downs as MD of BBB Cycling, the P&A subsidiary of the Pon.Bike Group. His successor is Folkert Lamsvelt who has been appointed as MD by Pon per January 15, 2017.

In a Pon Holdings press statement it is said that, “Marc Roelofsen has chosen to continue his career outside Pon.” Roelofsen was close to 20 year part of BBB Cycling; since 1997 as sales manager. In 2015 with the sale of the P&A company to Pon he was promoted to Managing Director.

Successor’s background

March Roelofsen’s successor Folkert Lamsvelt has a background as lawyer at Allen&Overy and is since 2007 at Pon where he started as management trainee and was assistant to the CEO. Next to that he had various management positions at Pon subsidiaries in the US. End of 2015 he switched to Pon.Bike Group and has been attached to the BBB Cycling management team since mid-2016.
