Foundation for success

“In recent years, we have laid the foundation for today’s success story,” says Thomas Raith. “It was a great time, but also very intense. That is why I have decided to take a break and spend more time with my family again. This decision has been made easier for me because, with my colleague Janco van der Heiden, I have a successor who has not only become a big brand expert, but also an industry connoisseur.” Rath joined Derby Cycle in October 2013.

At the time of Raith’s move to the Stuttgart location former CEO of VW and Skoda in the Netherlands, Janco van der Heyden, became responsible for Derby Cycle’s comfort brands Kalkhoff, Raleigh, Univega and Rixe as well as the company’s assembly operation in Cloppenburg.
