BAD URACH, Germany – To ensure the timely and professional distribution of products in the core markets, Magura Bike Parts will soon open an additional service and logistics centre in the Netherlands. The company already operates such centres in France and the UK.

As of September 1, service inquiries in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg will be handled exclusively by the company’s own service and logistics centre which will be based in Arnhem. “We increasingly rely on our own hubs in Europe to further consolidate our own service and distribution quality standards,” the company announced recently.

Magura already established two European hubs with the same organisational structure as the new Arnhem site. One is based Moirans for the French market and the other in Leicestershire for UK customers.

Bike parts partners

The company’s sales structure has been expanded in recent years, especially in the area of e-mobility and is gaining an increasing number of brands. Current Magura Bike Parts partner brands are Bosch eBike Systems, Miche, Miranda, COBI.Bike, Liqui Moly, Busch & Müller and Supernova. Supported by its sales team, the company’s Europe-wide distribution network offers broad market access to over 20,000 bicycle dealers.

Juncker Bike Parts remains distributor

Magura’s Bike Parts Board member Martina Class points out that, “Juncker Bike Parts who used to handle all service requests, will remain associated with us as a distributor. In line with our strategy, however, we intend to further consolidate our own position in Europe and we are focusing on even shorter distances and faster service processing by increasing the number of our own sales & service hubs. Our aim is to deliver orders within 24 hours.”
