Accell Group’s new sales structure in the DACH region fits with the holding company’s 2018 financial results announcement of last March. Here it said “Accell Group has taken important steps in improving its operating model and operational performance, based on the sharpened strategy. 2019 will show continuation on the implementation of this strategy. Central teams now fully in place and operational. Key senior management appointed.”

Strategic focus

This means for Germany, Austria and Switzerland that the distribution of Accell brands is being brought together in one sales organization. And that the strategic focus is on these brands: Haibike, Winora, Ghost, Koga, Lapierre, XLC and Wiener Bike Parts.

One sales organization

Headed by Sales Director Steffen Alberth, the sales teams will be led by Florian Keller (Sales Manager Parts) and Stefan Walter (Office Sales Manager Bikes). Former Ghost sales & marketing manager Joost van Schaik is appointed Head of New Business and he will also be supporting the development of the new organization which is based Schweinfurt (Haibike, Winora  and Wiener Bike Parts) as well as Waldsassen (Ghost, Lapierre and Koga). The focus of Accell’s new organization is on six sales areas in which the company has divided Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Uniform dealer conditions

The new sales organization officially starts on the 1st of July 2019. Dealers of the various Accell brands are being visited in order to familiarize them with the new approach as well as the people behind it. Part of the new approach is also that dealers will have new contracts with uniform conditions for all the named brands.

Furthermore, it is announced that Accell will launch the MY 2020 line-ups of its brands at the “DACH Orderdays” that is scheduled for 27 – 30 July, 2019 in Mainz.
