Tektro Europe Opens Office in Germany

NEUSTADT, Germany – Tektro Technology Corp sets its next step in becoming a global company by opening Tektro Europe GmbH i.G close to Frankfurt, Germany this month. Thomas Lattke will be the new general manager for this office and lead Tektro Europe GmbH as director of sales and service. Thomas Lattke comes with extensive industry experience, having spent the last 20 years with Sigma Sports and SRAM in product, service and sales positions.

Tektro Europe will be based one hour outside Frankfurt, in Neustadt an der Weinstraße. The goal for the next three years is, to built-up a solid sales – & service structure with a professional team, to support European OE – and Aftermarket customers within short time.

Establishing Tektro and TRP brands

Next to sales & service, the second focus will be to establish the Tektro Technology Corp’s brands – Tektro and TRP – in Europe. Direct media contacts, customer coop-activities and the support of key athletes and events will be part of the program.

To lead the global marketing and brand development for the Company Dirk Belling was hired in the position as global marketing & brand director. Like Thomas Lattke, Dirk Belling comes with an extensive international experience in PR, marketing and strategic brand development.

‘Quicker help and service’

“The new Tektro Europe GmbH i.G., with an experienced team, will be a key step for Tektro and TRP customers to receive quicker help and service. The Asian R&D teams are looking forward receiving more product and direct market information, to help develop better products for our customers. We are proud to have Thomas and Dirk on board for the future,” explains Leo Chen, Tektro Technology Corp GM.

At last week’s Eurobike Tektro lauched a series of transmission parts which Bike Europe will highlight at a later date.
