TAIPEI, Taiwan – The WFSGI invites all bicycle brands and manufacturers, members as well as non-members to join the WFSGI Public Bicycle Meeting at the Taipei International Cycle Show.
In 2011, the WFSGI Bicycle group counted more than 30 members (brands and manufacturers) who actively participate to foster the relationship with the International Cycling Union (UCI) and to further develop their involvement in Corporate Responsibility topics (CSR).
Four different working groups
Promoting and supporting the Bicycle Industry on a global level, the WFSGI and its Bicycle members have established four different working groups. Each group consists of industry experts working on latest topics relevant for the Bicycle industry with a main focus on the UCI.
The activity fields of these groups are: Steering committee for strategic directions, Technical Committee for relations with the UCI on rules and regulations, Wheel Committee for the specific wheel problems around safety and testing and a CSR Committee to evaluate if and what process would be ideal for the Bicycle Industry, taking in consideration several law aspects (e.g. California law).
The WFSGI invites all brands and manufacturers for an update on their activities and developments on the directions taken by the Bicycle group. This meeting will also be an invitation to all brands and manufacturers to join the WFSGI Bicycle group to strengthen their voice towards the UCI.
