Sustainable2Wheels Yearbook for MEPs
BRUSSELS, Belgium – At Sustainable 2Wheels,on Wednesday 18 September on the Esplanade of the European Parliament in Brussels, ETRA will officially present the first edition of its Sustainable2Wheel Yearbook to European decision-makers and to the European 2Wheel community.
The publication will feature factual and informative articles focusing on different aspects of the contribution of 2Wheels to making mobility sustainable, i.e. environmental aspects, public health, safety, infrastructure, cost-benefit analysis, transport behavior and much more.
The first objective of the Yearbook is to provide European decision-makers with a useful source of 2Wheel information to assist them in developing their policies. Therefore, the Yearbook will be addressed to all Members of the European Parliament, to key contacts in the European Commission and other European institutions as well as to senior management in the 2Wheel sector, other sustainable mobility stakeholders and to press and media contacts.
Call for articles
ETRA invites universities, research institutes, students, journalists, … who have published relevant articles on sustainable 2Wheel mobility issues to present their material for possible publication in the Yearbook. Any other stakeholders in the 2Wheel sector who know of interesting publications are invited to send the relevant references to ETRA. Furthermore the Yearbook will contain a list of all 2Wheel exhibitions for the forthcoming year as well as all 2Wheel projects funded through European programmes.
The full-colour Yearbook will be printed in 5,000 copies, whilst digital copies will be made available through www.etra-eu.com and www.sustainable2wheels.eu. Furthermore, ETRA will announce the Yearbook through its E-newsletter and direct mail, reaching approximately 2,000 contacts.
Throughout the year, ETRA will distribute the Sustainable2Wheel Yearbook at trade shows, conferences, political meetings, etc.
