Join ECF’s Advocacy Club & Industry Leaders at Taipei Cycle
BRUSSELS, Belgium – The European Cyclists’ Federation is organizing a VIP meeting at the Taipei Cycle Show to attract more bike companies to be part of the organization’s Cycling Industry Club. This is the ECF’s exclusive body bringing bike companies closer to cycle advocates.
“The Cycling Industry Club is how the industry supports the work being done to grow cycling in every part of Europe,” explains ECF development director Kevin Mayne, “and more cycling means more bikes, more accessories and more sales.” He stresses: “If you are in the cycling industry, you can’t afford not to support advocacy.”
‘Fastest way to grow bike business’
And many of the industry’s leading executives agree. “Supporting cycling advocacy is the fastest way you can grow this business and the biggest way that we can have an impact on society,” says Trek CEO John Burke. Pon Bicycle Group board member Rob Oudshoorn adds “All bike businesses should be making a commitment to advocacy. To stimulate growth in the fast moving European bike market, extensive and up to date information exchange between bike manufactures and European stakeholders is essential.”
Existing members of Cycling Industry Club include Accell, SRAM, Shimano, Cycleurope, Bosch, Schwalbe, and many more.
The Cycling Industry Club VIP event at the Taipei Cycle Show will take place on Thursday March 23, 16.30-17.30, Room 401, Nangang Exhibition Center, Hall 1.
