World Bicycle Industry Association Grows with Mexico and India as New Members
GENEVA, Switzerland – The World Bicycle Industry Association (WBIA) is growing. The latest new members that are welcomed are AICMA (All India Cycle Manufacturers’ Association) and ANAFABI (Mexican Association of Bicycle Manufactures). They already joined the last WBIA General Assembly which was held last July.
The World Bicycle Industry Association was founded in December 2017. WBIA is representing the Bicycle, Pedal-Assist E-Bike and Parts & Accessories Industry on global levels.
Such global representation means that Geneva based WBIA for instance takes parts in the World Forum for the Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations, organised by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. WBIA also takes part in several Working Parties on General Safety Provisions, Passive Safety, Lighting and Light-Signalling, Autonomous and Connected Vehicles.
The next session of the Global Forum for Road Traffic Safety will take place this month.
Next to the new associations for Mexico and India, the other WBIA Members are the Japan Bicycle Association, The Bicycle Product Suppliers Association from the United States, Taiwan Bicycle Association and the Confederation of the European Bicycle Industry.
