Jeroen Snijders Blok Retires
HEERENVEEN, the Netherlands – Accell Group announced last week that its former Chief Operating Officer, Jeroen Snijders Blok, is to retire by the end of this year. Snijders Blok (60) already stepped down from the holding company’s Board of Directors last April.
Jeroen Snijders Blok is one of the best know operators in the bicycle industry. Indeed, that has all to do with him being the Chief Operations Officer of Accell Group for the past close to 15 years. This job made him responsible for production, planning, purchasing and logistics of Europe’s biggest in bikes.
Jeroen Snijders Blok was Accell’s COO since 2004. Before that, he already held various management positions within the company like GM of Sparta.
Snijders Blok holds board positions within various organizations. He is Chairman of the Bicycle Committee which is part of the World Federation Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI). He is also Vice-President of the Confederation of the Bicycle Industry in Europe (CONEBI) as well as a member of the Cycling Industry Club.
