Dutch Gazelle Presents New Generation E-Bike Motors

Dutch Royal Gazelle presented at Eurobike its MY 2012 electric bikes which are fitted with a new generation of motors. More power, lower weight and increased energy-efficiency is the name of the game at this new motor series.

The new motor series is called XT. It is specially designed for more hilly terrains, and provides additional support, even with low speeds. At the new XT motor weight is reduced with 20%. It holds 45 Nm of torque and provides a higher energy efficiency thanks to less heat development at lower speeds.

Gazelle offers the possibility to choose this extra powerful, lightweight electric motor on the new 2012 e-bikes. This motor will be available on the Orange Plus & Excellent, Medeo Xtra & Excellent, and City model. The renowned Dutch bike maker also introduces a new brand for the export markets at Eurobike. This brand is called GoldLine.

Developed with the highest quality assurance levels and made specifically for the demanding high-end rider. The GoldLine collection includes electric bikes, city bikes, hybrids and road bikes. All bicycles are characterized by their light weight and sporty look. The GoldLine bicycles are built without a compromise, using key partners like Curana, Magura, Continental, Racktime, Shimano and Tubus. Inspired by Italy, hand built in Holland.
