2011: ZEG’s Best Year in History
The biggest dealer cooperative in Europe, the Zweirad Experten Gruppe (Two-Wheel Experts Group) reports that it achieved an all time high turn-over for 2011.
COLOGNE, Germany – The biggest dealer cooperative in Europe, the Zweirad Experten Gruppe (Two-Wheel Experts Group) reports that it achieved an all time high turn-over for 2011.
Last year total sales amounted € 455.5 million, an increase of € 59.2 million or 14.9% compared to 2010. With this increase ZEG is outperforming the European bike sector as well as Germany’s growth in 2011.

“The results in all European countries were very positive”, said ZEG CEO Georg Honkomp on the presentation of the annual results over 2011. “We have seen a significant growth in revenues in all countries with ZEG members and trading partners which include Germany, Holland, Belgium, Austria, France, Switzerland, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.”
“We are particularly pleased to see a sales increase in all product segments and not only e-bikes. Our members achieved a substantial growth in all bicycle categories as well as accessoires.”
Outlook for 2012
The outlook for 2012 is very positive according to ZEG as the dealer cooperative expects a further growth in revenue between 5 and 7 percent.
