E-Bike Battery with Prolonged Shelf Life Launched
TAIPEI, Taiwan – Is it a breakthrough in e-bike battery technology? This characterization may be a bit overrated. But at the last week held Taipei International Cycle Show a battery has been presented that has a prolonged shelf life.
It means that there’s diminished recharge need while the battery is in stock. The launched battery is also more resistant to weather influences.
GWA Energy Inc. – a renowned manufacturer of batteries for electric bikes – presented at the Taipei Cycle Show a 36V, 10.8Ah ultra-thin battery that can be held in stock for eight months without the need to (re)charge. The battery also offers consumers a much prolonged ‘recharge period’.
The latest technology of the Taiwan-based GWA Energy Inc. makes this battery also more resistant to temperature influences. The battery stays charged from 20 degrees Celsius below zero to 55 degrees.
