Matra Manufacturing & Services will only continue its spare parts activities for Renault automobiles Espace and Avantime. All other activities, including production will be transferred to Easybike Group’s manufacturing facility based the Normandy province in the city of St-Lô.

Four brands in one group

Initially the company will move to a temporary location pending the opening of the new industrial site in early summer 2015. For 2015 the production target is 8,000 to 10,000 Matra bikes. The integration of Matra is part of Easybike’s strategy to be the e-bike specialist in France. The group’s brand range now includes Easybike, Solex, Mobiky and Matra. These will all be made in Europe’s first industrial site completely dedicated to electric mobility with a target of 30,000 units by 2016.
