TranzX Displays New Motors at Taipei Cycle Show
TAIPEI, Taiwan – The Taiwanese manufacturer of bicycle components and systems for e‐bikes TranzX presented two entry‐level motors at the Taipei International Cycle Show last week.
For a more stable and smooth ride TranzX developed the M16 central motor which is supported by an integrated RPM sensor and controller. It features 20 Nm nominal torque up to a maximum of 50 Nm while its configuration makes it fit easily in various frame designs. It uses a simple connector that adds no significant additional weight to the total weight of 4.1 kilogram.
The M16 is compatible with a coaster brake and different battery types. It is also available in a higher torque version (GTA), which provides a maximum speed of 32 km/h.
The F15 front motor was TranzX’s second highlight at the Taipei Cycle Show. With a diameter of only 125 millimetre, the F15 is characterized by its excellent integration features at a cost effective price. The 250 Watt motor produces extremely low vibration and noise levels (59 dB) for its size, with a weight of only 2.9 kg and powerful torque (9.6 Nm nominal torque, up to a maximum of 45 Nm).
The motor’s flexibility means it can be combined with roller, rim or disc brakes. The new motors ensure a quiet and smooth ride, and both are provided with LogiX technology based on CAN‐Bus.
