Taichung Bike Week 2016 Scheduled for Same Week
TAICHUNG, Taiwan – While exhibitors and visitors were wrapping up on Friday October 23, Taichung Bike Week initiator and organizer Steve Fenton was looking back on a successful event. “Many people once again confirmed this is the type of event the industry needs,” said Steve Fenton of Taiwan based Pro-Lite.
Initially over 5,000 industry visitors were expected and although there is no official registration when entering one the participating hotels Fenton, but also exhibitors confirmed the success of the event in terms of visitors. Exhibitors confirmed an increase of in particular European product managers to Bike Europe.
Support of Taichung city government
At the closing day, Steve Fenton as always underlined the importance of the cooperation and support of the Taichung city government. “After the elections for a new mayor last year we had to wait and see what his strategy would be regarding this event and we were really happy to see that he is a strong supporter.”
“Though we have nothing officially decided yet, it is clear that the mid October timing suits the industry and the 2016 edition as such will be scheduled in the same window as this year”, says Fenton.
