FSA has been working with TI Cycles since last year following an initial meeting at the 2016 China Cycle show in Shanghai. The official distribution partnership was concluded at the Taichung Bike Week last autumn.

“TI Cycles is an important player on the Indian market and promotes almost a dozen international bike brands via its high-end shop concept ‘Track & Trail Sports’. We also plan to enter the aftermarket with our accessories range via these stores,” confirmed Davide Riva of FSA Srl on his maiden trip to TI Cycles during the Ridley brand launch in India.

30-35 dealers

FSA also want to promote its product range among the 30 to 35 TI Cycles’ expert dealers in various key cities of India. “We don’t expect an immediate boom and we are very realistic about this market,” adds Davide. “Therefore we start with this selected group of dealers and expand from there on. The feedback on our initial shipments were fairly positive and we expect to send the next consignment soon. We started with wheel sets and cockpit parts like handlebars, stems, cranks, BB sets and chains. Approximately 30-35% of our product range is now available in India.”

Next to India FSA also started distribution in Brazil and Thailand last year. The company operates plants in Taichung, Taiwan and is preparing to open its China office in Quansheng near Shanghai by the end 2017.
