Comodule Partners with Brose for Connectivity Solutions

BERLIN, Germany – Technology company Comodule developed a connectivity solution for e-bike manufacturers with Brose e-drive systems. The integration of Comodule and the Brose drive systems allow for new applications offering a more intense product experience, long lasting customer relationships and efficient product development.

In a common project Brose and Comodule implemented a complete e-bike integration system which will be presented at Eurobike 2017. From Taipei Cycle Show 2017 on OEMs equipping their bikes with a Brose drive unit will have the opportunity to adapt the connectivity eco-system of Comodule.

Product development tool

By attaching Comodule technology Brose customers get access to two products. The first one is Comodule analytics. This is an online platform which visualizes live performance data of the Brose drive system for the manufacturer. The information gathered by this option will accelerate product development as the manufacturer better and easier get to know the needs of their customers and how the product is used. The customers’ service can also be taken to the next level as the app provides a direct communication channel between the user and the manufacturer.

Smartphone app

The second feature is called Comodule operate. This is a smartphone app is made for the bike rider and offers him or her direct interaction with the bike. Adjusting the Brose motor system to personal preferences, locking the bike or simply navigating with a range of visualization are only some examples that are possible with the connected Brose drive system.

The Comodule system is be on display at Taipei Cycle this week in booth L1002, Hall 1 at the Nangang Exhibition Centre.
