LUDHIANA, India - After its recent take-over of Avocet in the UK, India's Hero Cycles continues its buying spree. The latest to be bought is the home-grown premium bicycle brand Firefox. Hero acquired Firefox Bikes as part of its strategy to further cement its position in the fast-growing premium cycling segment in India.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - The 5th Asia Bike Show, taking place from October 9 to 12 in Nanjing, China, will include a joint pavilion that hosts European P&A makers. It's organized by the Confederation of the European Bicycle Industry CONEBI which is also behind the joint European booth at Taipei Cycle.
