LAUSANNE, Switzerland - The final details on the motor-gearbox system developed by Saga Group will only be presented at the end of this year but their newest product was already on display at Eurobike. Their French production partner FAVI showed the Saga motor-gearbox as an illustration of their capabilities.

BERLIN, Germany - Full-service mobility provider Cycle has acquired the Dutch delivery e-bike manufacturer, Ebike4Delivery. "This strategic acquisition strengthens our position as a provider of e-bike fleets for the delivery industry in Europe," writes Cycle in a statement. The transaction includes the staff, all e-bikes, and existing leasing contracts.

LOS ANGELES, US - "The bicycle industry can expect a gradual recovery with significant upside in the medium to long term, with 2026 and 2027 marking pivotal years for increased mergers and acquisitions and investment opportunities." This is the conclusion of a new report led by global investment bank Houlihan Lokey. This expansion will enable them to better serve both their US and European brand partners in e-commerce strategies. Susanne Pfrengle has been appointed as managing director of CrankTank Europe.

MARCLOPT, France - Mach1 has taken-over Red-Motion, the innovative French company behind the Baramind shock-absorbing handlebars. "This acquisition is in line with our strategy to diversify our product portfolio and strengthen our position as the supplier of choice for OEMs," writes Mach1 in a statement.

VILLENEUVE D'ASCQ, France - Decathlon, known for its development of mid-end e-bikes and bicycles, has added an e-bike with automatic transmission to its range. "This is not just a bike. It's a statement of innovation and design that is set to change what we know about cycling," the French retail giant states.
