荷蘭，杜廷赫姆（Doetinchem）－本業為汽車製造商的Pon Holdings欲收購Accell Group的計畫可說是大趨勢下的其中一個例子，也就是目前有許多汽車廠商正計畫踏入兩輪電動車市場的這股趨勢。有越來越多的汽車零部件供應商從四輪踏入兩輪市場，而自Volkswagen及Peugeot在九月分別發表電動載貨車（e-Cargo Bike）與LEV（低廢棄排放車輛）之後，GM及Ford也跟進。

美國，華盛頓（Washington）－川普政府針對自中國進口至美國的（電動）自行車及零配件加徵稅的政策將於9月24日（下週一）開始實施。屆時直到年底都將加徵10%進口稅，並於明年開始徵收25%稅。

英國，倫敦（London）－英國媒體報導，擁有60家分店的英國 High Street自行車連鎖商Evans Cycles已僱用財務重組公司，且必須籌借1000萬英鎊（1120萬歐元）的資金。Evans Cycles最新帳務顯示截至2017年10月28日的稅前虧損為250萬英鎊（280萬歐元）。銷售緩慢升至1.388億至1.557億歐元，與前一年相比共虧損580萬英鎊。

TAICHUNG, Taiwan - The Taichung Bike Week is paying the price for the international trade show shuffle. After several years of double digit growth, the 2018 event which will take place from 26 - 28 September, is seeing a decrease in the number of exhibitors and participating hotels.
