美國，華盛頓（Washington）－川普政府針對自中國進口至美國的（電動）自行車及零配件加徵稅的政策將於9月24日（下週一）開始實施。屆時直到年底都將加徵10%進口稅，並於明年開始徵收25%稅。

英國，倫敦（London）－英國媒體報導，擁有60家分店的英國 High Street自行車連鎖商Evans Cycles已僱用財務重組公司，且必須籌借1000萬英鎊（1120萬歐元）的資金。Evans Cycles最新帳務顯示截至2017年10月28日的稅前虧損為250萬英鎊（280萬歐元）。銷售緩慢升至1.388億至1.557億歐元，與前一年相比共虧損580萬英鎊。

美國，華盛頓－美中貿易戰現況，美國將對自中國進口的電動自行車加徵25%關稅。除了電動自行車之外，電動自行車馬達也被列在課徵25%關稅的商品清單，這項政策將從8月23日起實施。
