OXFORD, UK - The annual E-bike Summit held in Oxford is now in its sixth year. The event is unusual in that it brings together manufacturers, retailers, politicians and trade bodies in one high-level gathering. Top of the agenda this year was removing the barriers to e-bike adoption in the UK.

TAICHUNG, Taiwan - The e-drive supplier Hyena will soon introduce the upgraded E-Road drive system unit with a ISIS torque sensor, and the range extender compatibility, while a new HMI will follow later. The Taichung based company expects to supply the system initially to some of its long-term partners for their MY 2024/25 e-bikes.

TAICHUNG, Taiwan - Rising global inflation and the war in the Ukraine did not yet recoil sales of Taiwan's Giant Manufacturing. The company reports record sales in the second quarter of this year. For the first half of this year total sales increased by 7.2% to TWD 45.01 billion (€1.47 billion). Whether the rising tension in the Straits of Taiwan will impact the third quarter sales in unknown yet.

TAICHUNG, Taiwan - Taiwan's leading bicycle producer Giant Manufacturing Company Limited (Giant Group) has set a new historic quarterly record in the first quarter of the current fiscal year. The Group's sales contribution from e-bikes reached a 26% share.
