德國，巴爾希費爾德（Barchfeld）－Büchel集團子公司Wittkop GmbH於今年5月1日買下義大利座墊廠商Selle Esse。該公司旨在改善並擴大德國座墊及零件生產規模，尤其是位於圖林根（Thuringia）的Zella-Mehlis和Barchfeld，以及義大利Bassano的廠區。

Leading folding bike manufacturer Dahon chairman Dr. David Hon has announced he has uncovered design flaws in various types of bicycles, including mountain bikes, road bikes, and some e-bikes. By examining frame flex and its impact on performance, Dr. Hon has developed theoretical and experimental methods for practical frame flex measurement.

LUXEMBURG - The European Public Prosecutor's Office reports that it has filed two separate indictments at the Court of Antwerp, Belgium for the evasion of customs duties on the importation of e-bikes from China. In both cases they are accused of presenting incorrect customs declarations in order to evade anti-dumping and countervailing duties.

MADRID, Spain - In line with all market expectations, the production volume of the bicycle industry in Spain decreased by 34.7% last September compared with 2022. This major decline can be regarded as a correction on the COVID related boom. Production and sales volumes are still above 2019 levels.

ANKARA, Turkey - European demand for Turkish e-bikes quadrupled in 2020, according to data of the Aegean Exporters' Association. The export value of e-bikes manufactured in Turkey in 2020 reached €32.6 million compared to €7.5 million in 2019, particularly from Accell Group's Turkish subsidiary, Accell Bisiklet.
