ISPO Bike to Open Next Thursday
MUNICH, Germany – While large parts of Europe are still in the holiday mood, the Messe Munich will open its doors next Thursday to welcome the ISPO Bike.
On Wednesday, one day prior to the indoor show, the second edition of the demo day will take place. This event is located at Bikepark Samerberg. The bike park is the headquarters of the ISPO Bike demo day test area and trailhead for four different test trails.
Urban and Innovation hall
Munich’s ISPO Bike is aiming on the growing market of bicycles as fashion and lifestyle objects. The show will include an Urban and Innovation hall, hosting innovations from apparel, bikes, accessories and components.
For example the Boo E-Touring- Bionx e-bikes by Boo Bicycles which cleverly combine sustainable bamboo material with trendy design. The handcrafted bamboo-carbon hybrid frames are strong, unbreakable and extremely light. In addition, the BionX motor offers a 150-km range as well as speeds up to 40 km/h.
The Light Electric Vehicle Association (LEVA) will host a special seminar and networking breakfast to support the ISPO Bike E-Mobility hall. LEVA will organize the networking breakfast on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 8:00am in Restaurant Käfer – Käferstüberl on the 1st floor on the fair grounds.
Along with eCycleElectric, LEVA will be hosting a special seminar on Friday, August 17, 2012 titled “The Opportunities and Challenges for the Asian Bicycle and E-bike Industry in the EU”. The seminar will be held on Friday, August 17th, from 10:30 to 11:30am in room A52 (above hall A5). All presentations are held in English and translated simultaneously into Chinese.
