Taipei Cycle Does Credit To its Reputation
TAIPEI, Taiwan – The name the Taipei International Cycle Show made for itself with the past 26th editions, is again enhanced with the 27th one. It’s lively, crowded and focused; especially on the first models, ideas, prototypes for Model Year 2016.
Exact visitor numbers are not yet available at Show organizer TAITRA. But judging from the crowds flocking the show floors Taipei Cycle 2014 is again living up to its reputation as THE industry show for the cycling world. After two show days – and still two more to come – it looks like the 2014 Taipei Show is again to break records.
For the total number of exhibiting companies Taipei Cycle already did that. A total of 1,111 exhibitors participate this year; 27% are from outside Taiwan. Pioneer, the leading Japanese electronics manufacturer, is one of the companies that participate for the first time Taipei Cycle. Pioneer is showcasing products crossing over into cycling, including e-bikes pedaling monitoring system and a special watch for cyclists.
