Eurobike Demo Day Relocation Proofs Successful
FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany – Eurobike’s decision to move the opening event of the show, the Demo Day from Argenbühl to one of the parking lots of the fairground was welcomed by exhibitors and visitors. Despite the wettest and coldest weather conditions in years the event attracted many visitors and did not deter people from making test rides.
For many exhibitors the move to the fairgrounds was a convincing reason to be present at Demo Day. “Related to last year, we have seen an increase of 40 percent to 147 companies and brands for this test event,” explains Eurobike project leader Dirk Heidrich.
The simplified logistics proved to be a major advantage of the new location. Instead of traveling 45 minutes by car to Argenbühl the ‘new’ Demo Day location in front of the exhibition halls is most convenient for all parties concerned. Also the availability of the nearby facilities of the Messe Friedrichshafen made the Demo Day an efficient happening.
Though the new test tracks of Demo Day are not laid out in the beautiful hilly scenery of Argenbühl the first responses from riders proved that the new tracks are great for test riding. Messe Friedrichshafen had these test track built for this annual event only and they can be used by local MTB club throughout the year. Next to the off road test tracks, three different well marked routes took the riders through the neighbouring forest and hills.
The dates for Eurobike 2015 have been set already. The show will take place from August 26 to 29. The 2015 Eurobike Demo Day is scheduled on Tuesday August 25.
