New Show in Bike Loving Denmark
COPENHAGEN, Denmark – This spring a new bicycle exhibition is taking place in the heart of Copenhagen with big ambitions and in historical and unique surroundings.
Behind the Copenhagen Bike Show is the second generation of one of Denmark’s all-time best professional cyclist, Ole Ritter. The new Danish cycle fair is named Copenhagen Bike Show. Christian Ritter is the son of Ole Ritter, which after a successful professional cycling career started the wholesale company Ritter Import specializing in Italian brands. Today the 73-year former time trialist still going strong, has handed over the responsibility to his son.
Visitors are promised an impressive experience at Copenhagen Bike Show, and the ambition is to become the biggest bike show in Denmark. Copenhagen Bike Show open its doors on Friday March 13 and will be open to the public three days including Sunday March 15.
The location is rather special. It once housed the Danish Railway maintenance unit for steam locomotives. The rustic style and look of the old maintenance hall creates a historic atmosphere. The large area opens opportunities for a diversity of exhibitors within the bike industry and offers furthermore a unique option in Denmark for Danish bike buisness to grow. An indoor test track is there for visitors to try out the newest generation of city bikes, mountain bikes, racing bikes, e-bikes and folding bikes.
Everything is present
Through the participation of the producers and wholesalers of the dominant bike brands the visitors will be able to see, feel and test-drive the newest models. Everything is present from bicycles, clothing to all sorts of parts. Copenhagen Bike Show is wisely scheduled in the spring to urge more people to get out and ride their bikes.
