“Eurobike is still the place to meet everyone from all over the world who is professionally involved in bicycles and the cycling industry,” explains Messe Friedrichshafen CEO Klaus Wellmann. “Here the spotlight will be put on new trends for model year 2016 for the first time. The immense bike show offers a comprehensive overview of the market: everyday bikes, sport bikes, e-bikes, cargo bikes, kid’s bikes, and recumbent bikes. The latest bike fashions will be taken to the catwalk and informative discussions will be held during an accompanying program focusing on leading issues in the industry.”
For the eleventh time, new products that feature outstanding design, quality, and functionality are being honoured with an Eurobike Award on the first day of the event. Above all this event serves as a communications tool for the bike industry. The award winners are presented at a special show at the entrance in the West Foyer.
A recent study by the ECF showed that tourism has the biggest potential within the cycling industry to generate new jobs. This gives an all-new dimension to the Eurobike Travel Talk which brings together bicycle and tourism industries. On Friday, August 28th, the newest trends and innovations in bicycle tourism will be presented and discussed.
Once again Eurobike will bundle the bicycle industry’s expertise at the Eurobike Academy 2015. It will offer a mixture of lectures, workshops, and exchange of knowledge. Expert speakers and discussion rounds will tackle the hottest topics and trends in the bike business. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, the Eurobike Academy will focus on topics such as bike sharing, the basics of the bike trade, bike leasing, and several other current issues. At the time of printing details on the program were not yet known. The Eurobike Academy will take place on the first floor of the Congress Centre in Foyer East.
The latest bike fashions will be on show in East Foyer during the Eurobike Fashion Show. From Wednesday to Saturday at 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., apparel manufacturers will present everything that makes cycling and biking practical and stylish, while also offering protection from the sun, wind and rain.
