Industry Support for Eurobike Media Days
KIRCHBERG, Austria – In the months ahead of Eurobike an ever growing number of brands and companies in the bicycle industry tried to get as much as possible media coverage. Eurobike organizer Messe Friedrichshafen recognized this trend and successfully created a new event to facility the need for growing media coverage.
Next June, the Austrian town of Kirchberg, will see the second edition of the Eurobike Media Days. Last year 19 companies with 25 different brands and more than 120 journalists gathered in this small town. “In 2016, we intend to build on this success and are confident that more partners will come on board,” says Eurobike division manager Stefan Reisinger.
Well before Eurobike
“The Eurobike Media Days offer the ideal opportunity to present the bicycle industry’s innovations and trends to an inner circle of international media representatives in a real-world bike setting well before the Eurobike itself which will take place from August 31 to September 4, 2016.”
“We understood that the number of new product presentation received by the editorial offices of bike magazines simply become too much to handle professionally. The concept to bundle these introductions and invite the media representatives on one location during three days was well perceived last year. To grow the event we have decided to strengthen our team by appointing Christina Kulling as external project coordinator.”
