Spain’s Unibike Show Presents 3rd Edition Next September

MADRID, Spain – Unibike 2016 will be opening its doors for its third edition between 22 to 25 September. This international event for bicycles, organized by Spain’s industry associations IFEMA and AMBE, will present professionals and the general public a showcase of more than 500 brands from the bicycle sector.

Unibike is not a static show but is focusing on visitors that are looking for attractive activities. This year’s 3rd edition is having more (testing) activities compared with the two previous shows.

Best showcase

Halls 12 and 14 of Feria de Madrid will host the big event for the bicycle industry in Spain. More than 180 companies have already confirmed their participation. In this sense, Unibike 2016 will once again be the best showcase so that the sector in Spain presents the latest trends and designs with a view to the coming year to professionals and the general public.

Open to professionals

As a response to participants’ needs, the event, which will once again be presented in a mixed fashion, extends its duration by one day. On 22 September Unibike will be exclusively open to professionals and to the general public at the weekend, 23-24 September.

Activities to get involved in

Unibike 2016 features a wide range of activities related to bikes and cycling. Indoor activities (Hall 14), like a kid’s bike circuit for children under 8 years. Furthermore, the main brands of electric and city bikes have test bikes available for visitors to try out their latest models. That will take place at a closed circuit of 400 meters long fitted with a large ramp.

Outside, the Boulevard area will host the Cofidis charity cycling event. This is a fund-raising initiative that combines cycling and support for social causes. There will also be Looping Bike as well as a Road Safety Circuit that aims to promote positive and safe behaviour. There’s also a Fatbike Demo Circuit as well as a Pump Track for BMX, MTB and Scooters where curves and slopes link together at high speed.

Running at the same time of Unibike, AMBE – the Association of Brands and Bikes in Spain- will be organizing a series of presentations, panel discussions and conferences.

Feria de Madrid

Organised by IFEMA and AMBE, and promoted by Last Lap and Expobike Solutions, Unibike 2016 is sponsored by Cofidis, Iberdrola and Mercedes-Benz, and will take place Halls 12 and 14 at Feria de Madrid on 22 to 25 September.
