Autonomy 2017 Presents All Options For Bike Sharing Systems
PARIS, France – The second edition of the smart urban mobility event ‘Autonomy’ was held in Paris last weekend. The conference was organized in the city known for the Velib concept, the bike rental system that gave the French capital in July 2007 a jump start in the development of urban mobility. Since then bike sharing by rental systems are regarded as one of the solutions to fight congestions in big metropolises.
Even China’s bike-sharing giants Ofo and Obike showed up at the 2017 edition of Autonomy as well as a lot of other smaller bike-share parties. The event focuses on smart and green solutions for urban mobility.
Autonomy 2017 took place last 19 – 21 October in Paris. It offered the urban mobility industry an innovative and collaborative platform for its leaders, innovators, policy makers and public to meet and change the way we move in cities.

Although many city officials are still restrained to allow China’s bike sharing systems in their streets without any restrictions, the people embrace this new kind of cycling without any limitation.
Besides bicycle project, Autonomy 2017 also show the latest on e-scooters, electric shuttle solutions and all kinds of data driven start-ups like Tracefy, a GPS solution with a wide variety of applications for bicycles and e-bikes.
