Also 2019 Taipei Cycle Returning to Original March Dates
FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany – Next to Eurobike, also the Taipei Cycle Show is for next year returning to its original dates. Despite the fact that the 2019 Taipei Cycle Show will take place only five months after the 2018 edition, organizers Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) and the Taiwan Bicycle Association (TBA) decided to turn back to the original schedule for the Taipei Cycle Show which is in March.
The exact date for the Taipei International Cycle Show is set for March 27 – 30, 2019. As said, this edition of Taipei Cycle comes shortly after the 2018 edition which takes place from October 31 to November 3.
Unified view on dates
At a press conference held at Eurobike the reason for Taipei Cycle to return to its original March schedule next year was not explicitly mentioned. However, it obviously has to do with the fact that for 2018, due to divergent date preferences that ensure that an unequivocal solution in terms of schedule, was not available. That probably made Taipei Cycle turn to the October 31 to November 3 dates for this year. For next year however, a more unified view was expressed by the TBA during a last June meeting. Here the TBA members decided to turn back to the original schedule for the Taipei Cycle Show which is in March. TBA is co-organizer of the Taipei Cycle show while organizer TAITRA supports this decision.
TAITRA made use of the press conference at Eurobike to announce the rescheduling of Taipei Cycle starting in 2019. Next year’s show will be taking place from March 27 to 30 in Nangang Exhibition Halls 1 and 2 (the new hall which is across the street from Nangang hall 1). The 2019 edition will be the same size as this year’s show. Andrea Wu, TAITRA Senior Project Manager for Taipei Cycle, emphasized at the press conference that only exhibitors taking part this year will be prioritized for space at the 2019 Taipei Cycle.
