Last Call for Taipei Cycle d&i Awards
TAIPEI, Taiwan – Until 7 September 2018, both exhibitors as well as companies that are not exhibiting at Taipei Cycle Show still have the opportunity to register for the competition. Organizer iF International Forum Design added a new category ‘IoT Applications for Cycling’ to this year’s competition.
Taipei Cycle Show which takes place from 31 October to 3 November this year invites designers and manufacturers to enter their products in the competition and bring home a seal of approval. The new category ‘IoT Applications for Cycling’ includes mobile devices, wearable devices, Bluetooth devices, cloud systems, and other representing the current trend.
Next to IoT Applications for Cycling, the other categories are:
- Components + Parts
- Peripherals + Accessories
- E-bikes + Pedelecs
The international jury of the Taipei Cycle d&i awards 2018 will include Alex Thubass of Haibike Design Centre in Germany, Dieter Fornoff of Puls Produktdesign in Germany, Francois Liang of the Cycling & Health Tech Industry R&D Center Taiwan, James Shyr of Huaren Technology R&D in China, Ken O’Rourke of KOR-Design in Taiwan, Manfred Wang of Qisda Corporation in Taiwan and Shikuan Chen of Compal Electronics in Taiwan.
The jury will meet in Taipei to access and evaluate all the entries and to selects the winners on 26 and 27 September 2018. All award winning products will be on display during the Taipei Cycle Show at the end of October.
