NETHERLANDS, SWITZERLAND – Registration is now open for the 2019 World Cycling Forum being held on 4 and 5 June 2019. The Conference, organized by the World Federation of the Sporting Goods Industry (WFSGI) and Bike Europe, takes place in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The main theme of this two-day International Conference is: Putting the Bicycle Industry at the Core of Sustainable Development.
The 2019 World Cycling Forum addresses the sweeping ramifications of climate change and explores the Bicycle Industry’s role in sustainable development including its contribution to the UN’s sustainable development goals.
It is becoming increasingly clear that the Bicycle Industry and cycling can play a very important role in the efforts to limit the global temperature increase and greenhouse gas emissions. The 2019 World Cycling Forum will consider how the industry is to meet its full sustainability potential through a series of expert presentations and engaging panel sessions that will focus on issues such as:
- UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Future manufacturing landscape
- Innovative materials & practices
- Sustainable processes & technologies
The 2019 World Cycling Forum sets the stage for an industry-leading dialogue and provides a series of events suited for expert-led learning, networking and business development. This is your chance to participate in the conversation, understand the issues, and take the first steps toward charting a new, sustainable course for your company.
