Network & Interact at ‘One-Stop-Ship’ Forum
ROTTERDAM, the Netherlands – The busy agenda of the World Cycling Forum 2019 includes Q&A sessions with the speakers, workshops, panel discussions as well as ample networking opportunities during the breaks. A very special event is taking place in the evening of the first day. This is the informal BBQ dinner on the Lido Terrace Deck of the former cruise liner SS Rotterdam; the maritime conference location of the 2019 World Cycling Forum.
This floating venue is a unique and inspiring location where the World Cycling Forum is to welcome its audience of decision makers, purchasing, procurement, supply chain directors and managers as well MD’s at retail chains, industry associations and stakeholders. SS Rotterdam is located in the Rotterdam harbor;less then seven kilometres from Rotterdam The Hague Airport and only fifty kilometres from Amsterdam Airport. The cruise liner has been converted into a modern conference center and hotel with excellent accessibility for up to 3500 guests with 12 event rooms, 29 meeting rooms, 254 hotel rooms, 580 parking spaces and several restaurants and bars.
The 1stWorld Cycling Forum of two years ago underlined very clearly the importance that participants attach to the possibility of interacting with each other informally. That’s why the program of the 2019 World Cycling Forum largely provides for networking. Coffee breaks, joint lunches are on the program for the two days. In addition, after the program of the first day a cocktail party is scheduled before the BBQ dinner of the aft deck of the SS Rotterdam.
