Pon控股創立了Pon自行車企業集團。所有近期收購的自行車公司-Derby Cycle、Gazelle和Cervélo， 都是屬於Gazelle前代理總經理Xeno Grimmelt（見照片）， 帶領之新公司的成員。該控股公司的總部設在德國的Cloppenburg，Derby Cycle也位於該處。

更多的工廠，更多的車型，尤其是29-ers及競賽型自行車，以及更多的行銷支援。甚至考慮派專業團隊參與環法自行車賽。新的Merida Scultura SL隊（見照片），連同上週末在馬略卡島的Marida經銷商及記者營所推出的29-ers全新系列，這極有可能發生。

未來的汽車巨頭正試圖進軍利潤豐厚的電動自行車市場。3月初，歐寶將在日內瓦的Autosalon推出其『RAD e』的設計研究。據歐寶表示：「領先時代的電動自行車將補足該品牌現有的電能流動性策略，並提供真正融合了個人與城市流動性的概念。」
