LUXEMBOURG - The anti-dumping case on e-bikes imported from China might enter an all-new chapter after the first level judgement of the European General Court. The court has annulled anti-dumping and countervailing duties implemented by the European Commission back in 2019 on e-bikes made in China by Giant Electric Vehicle Kunshan Co. Ltd.

STUTTGART, Germany - In a distribution dispute between Paul Lange & Co and Selle Italia Srl the Italian court 'Tribunale de Treviso' took a final decision last March. The court made the final judgement that the premature termination of the disputed distribution contract by Selle Italia in 2017 was unlawful and thus invalid.

SEOUL, South Korea - South Korean battery maker Samsung SDI has said it will roll out solid-state batteries early next year in its pilot production line near Seoul. Solid-state batteries are regarded as 'next-generation products,' which experts point out are safer and more powerful than conventional lithium-ion batteries.

BRUSSELS, Belgium - To meet demand for e-bikes on Europe's markets, the increase of e-bike imports is outperforming investments in local production. In 2021 the total import hiked by almost 30% from 884,862 units in 2020 to 1,144,597 e-bikes last year.
