FRANKFURT, Germany - Weber Fibertech, a specialist in the development and manufacture of long fibre-reinforced thermoplastic parts is expanding its activities in the bike industry. With roots firmly in the automotive segment, the company has created the Fi.Bi.Tech division to focus on the growing interest from the bicycle industry for close to market frames and other components.
CHANGHUA, Taiwan - Bicycle component and accessory manufacturer Sunny Wheel displayed its new universal adapter plate at Eurobike. As an update to the standard plate, the new product is compatible with 80% of market carriers. Additionally, the Taiwanese manufacturer confirmed a positive market outlook with no intentions to move production to Europe.

FRANKFURT AM MAIN, Germany - Friday was 'sustainability day' at Eurobike with several new initiatives being launched. This included a new guide to help the German bicycle industry report on their sustainability activities and the Cycling Industry Climate Pledge. On a national and international level there were repeated calls for all parties to work together. "We need to place collaboration at the core of our efforts," stated Alex Thun, CEO of Thun and Chair of CIE and CONEBI's sustainability expert group.
