As brands and manufacturers look for more responsibly sourced materials for their products, the company can already count Maxxis as a client, with more top tyre brands following suit.

CHANGHUA, Taiwan - Bicycle component and accessory manufacturer Sunny Wheel displayed its new universal adapter plate at Eurobike. As an update to the standard plate, the new product is compatible with 80% of market carriers. FRANKFURT AM MAIN, Germany - Friday was 'sustainability day' at Eurobike with several new initiatives being launched. This included a new guide to help the German bicycle industry report on their sustainability activities and the Cycling Industry Climate Pledge. On a national and international level there were repeated calls for all parties to work together. "We need to place collaboration at the core of our efforts," stated Alex Thun, CEO of Thun and Chair of CIE and CONEBI's sustainability expert group.

After 2 years of development, Velco announced at Eurobike that it has officially become an off-shelf IoT device partner of the Japanese giant bicycle parts and engine manufacturer.

ZEIST, the Netherlands - "Half of young consumers find it acceptable to buy fakes," is the outcome of a new study by the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO). While Europeans are growing wary of counterfeits and illegal content, price remains a deciding factor as young consumers are more likely to find it acceptable to buy fakes. Could this also have implications for e-bike brands, particularly in the high-end segment?
