From the new headquarters in Woudenberg, the Netherlands, the company is now preparing for the next stage in its growth. Upstream investments are on the horizon.
LEUVEN, Belgium— REIN4CED, the Belgian manufacturer of advanced composite bicycle frames, has successfully closed a series B capital increase of €7 million led by Capricorn Partners. This new capital injection will support the company's ambitious growth trajectory "to become the leading supplier of lightweight, strong and durable materials to the bicycle, automotive and aerospace market".
TAIPEI, Taiwan - After nearly a month of virtual exhibitions, business meetings and forum discussions, Taipei Cycle Online has now drawn to a close. Organisers, TAITRA, report that the online format attracted many new exhibitors, but a "physical trade show is irreplaceable". Plans are now in full swing for just that in 2022.
NANJING, CHINA - With an annual revenue of €25.6 million last year, Nanjing Lishui, has increased its production capacity to around 1-1.5 million e-bike controller units in recent years. KORBACH, Germany - Continental has unveiled two additions to its range of bicycle tyres in a new SUV-Allrounder product category. The new Ruban and eRuban Plus have been designed for optimal performance both on and off-road, with the eRuban Plus focusing on e-bikes. Both of the new additions are now available through international Continental distributors.
MILAN, Italy - The exponential increase in e-cargo-bike use for personal mobility and logistics has paved the way for a growing demand for safety and manoeuvrability. Blubrake has now developed the first anti-lock braking system for e-cargo bikes.
AMSTERDAM, The Netherlands - enviolo, known for its stepless shifting products, has reported record-breaking revenue growth in 2020. Reaching over 60% revenue growth means enviolo doubled its sales in 2 years' time. The company is now bringing more experience into the team as it expands the business development department.
