    Will diversity study findings bring change to the bicycle industry?

    LONDON, UK — "Senior leaders in the bicycle industry are overwhelmingly white, heterosexual men" and "women and those from minority groups are more likely to leave the industry" - these are key finding from a new Diversity in the Cycling Industry Perception Survey Report. With other results shedding light on diversity and inclusivity issues, a roadmap for change has been proposed.

    Indian Hero EcoTech has confidence in European e-bike market

    NEW DELHI, India - The long-term business connection with Bachtenkirch-Interbike based in Möhnesee, Germany gave Indian Hero Ecotech a head-start on the European market.     New Polish e-bike factory backed by Chinese home electronics giant

    FRANKFURT, Germany - Poland is gaining relevance for e-bike assemblers and a new factory is on the horizon. Backed by NKI, a Chinese manufacturer of home appliances for the global market, Polana Bikes has ambitions to produce 80,000 e-bikes per year when fully up and running.

    Starting an e-bike service not easy proves next bankruptcy for GreenMo customers

    AMSTERDAM, the Netherlands - Irish e-bike delivery fleet provider Moby has taken over the customers of Mechs BV which was started only recently. Mechs took on the rental and maintenance of delivery vehicles after the restart of e-bike delivery fleet provider GreenMo. Now Mechs has also been declared bankrupt.

    E-Bike Advanced partners with Igus on recycled plastic components

    FRANKFURT, Germany - The topic of sustainability at comparatively young e-bike brand E-Bike Advanced Technologies GmbH (Advanced) is not marketing claptrap but, according to Head of Communications and Customer Service Leo Schlüter, "the core DNA of the company". This was also evident at this year's Advanced booth at Eurobike 2023.

    Avon Cycles sees more export opportunities with new factory

    LUDHIANA, India - The construction of an export-oriented facility on the outskirts of Ludhiana gave Avon Cycles an excellent opportunity to take its output to EU standards. The 55 thousand square meter factory is fully compliant to European standards as Avon Cycles CEO Onkar Singh Pahwa highlighted at Eurobike.

The increase in turnover went hand in hand with the increase in profitability reports the Italian Banca Ifas in their third annual edition of 'Bicycle Ecosystem'.

    IPO for Giant Group subsidiary in Shanghai rejected

    SHANGHAI, China - On 16 June 2022 Giant Manufacturing Co., Ltd. filed an application for listing and trading of its China subsidiary D.Mag (Kunshan) New Material Technology Co. Ltd. on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (SSE). The Shanghai Stock Exchange Listing Review Committee rejected the application on 6 July.
