    DENKENDORF, Germany - Gearbox manufacturer, Pinion has introduced the durable T-Line gearbox series for heavy-duty cargo bikes. With this new product line, the company says it "is committed to ensuring that cargo bikes become established as the reliable and environmentally friendly choice for 'last mile' delivery of small parcel shipments".

    Shimano launches durable Linkglide technology for e-bike drivetrains

    EINDHOVEN, the Netherlands - To solve the drivetrain wear and tear issue in e-bikes and MTBs, Shimano has introduced Linkglide technology to offer increased drivetrain durability. Being introduced initially at Deore XT and Deore level, Shimano says the new technology is especially suited to e-trekking bikes and e-MTBs ridden under high-torque.

    'EU states not meeting cycling's potential in Covid recovery plans'

    BRUSSELS, Belgium - Only six European member states are properly integrating cycling into their National Recovery and Resilience Plans, new analysis by the European Cyclists' Federation (ECF) shows. While Belgium has championed cycling by allocating €473 million for infrastructure, etc, cycling is noticeably absent from Germany's agenda.

    BRUSSELS, Belgium - Empty warehouses and low inventory limited bicycle and e-bike sales volumes in Belgium last year. According to the national industry organisation Traxio there was great interest in cycling last year but the market increase was only 4% as there were insufficient products available.
