    Austrian chain Hervis expands international store count after strong e-bike sales

    WALS, Austria - Austrian sporting goods chain store giant Hervis Sport has announced a spring offensive, following the opening of a new flagship store in Innsbruck, Austria. This offensive relies not only on a chain store expansion in Austria, but in six further European countries in which they are already on the ground.     Néomouv raises the bar after not capitalising on last year's e-bike boom

    LA FLECHE, France - Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, French e-bike manufacturer Néomouv concluded 2020 with a turnover of €10 million and a production of 10,000 e-bikes, but this could have been much more. Philippe Vaxelaire, the CEO of the company, explains that he chose to reduce components purchases and production fearing a drop in the sales. A boost in production is planned for 2021.

    Bafang's M200 drive system receives China's first UKCA certification

    SUZHOU, China - Bafang, has received the UKCA certificate from TÜV SUD, an international third-party testing, inspection and certification institution for its M200 central motor drive system. It is the first certificate presented to the Chinese e-bike industry and indicates that the product conforms to the latest market access requirements of the UK.

    Selle Italia eyes 40% growth with shift to sustainable production process

    CASSELLA D'ASOLO, Italy - Selle Italia is forecasting a 40% growth in the coming years as the market adapts to close to market sourcing. The saddle manufacturer has also introduced a new production process named Green-Tech. Developed by its Chairman Giuseppe Bigolin, this allows "the manufacture of low environmental impact, eco-friendly products that are quick to produce at competitive prices".
