    VanMoof Holding, Global Support and the Netherlands declared bankrupt

    AMSTERDAM, the Netherlands - The follow-up of the chapter 11 status for VanMoof came much quicker than expected. On 17 July 2023, the court of Amsterdam withdrew the suspension of payment proceeding of the Dutch legal entities VanMoof Global Holding BV, VanMoof BV and VanMoof Global Support BV and declared these entities bankrupt.

    SHANGHAI, China - E-bike drive system manufacturer Ananda is currently stepping up its activities in Europe which will result in the opening of a fully automatic production facility in Hungary.     Sunny Wheel adds flexibility with universal adapter plate

    CHANGHUA, Taiwan - Bicycle component and accessory manufacturer Sunny Wheel displayed its new universal adapter plate at Eurobike. As an update to the standard plate, the new product is compatible with 80% of market carriers. Additionally, the Taiwanese manufacturer confirmed a positive market outlook with no intentions to move production to Europe.

    Cowboy develops app to keep VanMoof riders on the road

    BRUSSELS, Belgium - VanMoof competitor Cowboy has released a free iOS app in which VanMoof users can store their digital bicycle key. "We wanted to get this shipped as quickly as possible because it will work while the VanMoof servers are live and we just don't know how long that will be," stated Cowboy Communications Director Amy Grimshaw.
