MADRID, Spain - In recent years, the supply bottlenecks triggered by coronavirus and the resulting call for close to market production have turned attentions to the relatively young EU production locations of Bulgaria, Portugal and Romania. TIMISOARA, Romania - German Corratec is the next in the industry to start bicycle production in Romania. On 6 August the company celebrated the grand opening of its new production facility in Timișoara.

NANTOU, Taiwan - The transition from a bicycle to e-bike centered industry brought major changes to Taiwan's export industry. New companies have been founded in the past few years while also the country's renowned electronics industry is presenting itself more explicitly in the e-bike industry. One of the recent starters in the e-bike industry is Yota Cycles, founded in 2020.
